Part of the Ron Paul phenomenon, of course, is that there are no other conservative candidates-- just neo-liberal "neo-cons." And the traditional conservative nessage sounds pretty good to many of us battered by decades of big-government, privacy-invading, debt-and-spend Republicans. Andrew Sullivan has been tracking his campaign regularly.

Chris Pirillo got on early. Adam Curry is a big supporter. They like his libertarian message and geeks do know how to spread a meme on the net.
