How insane are these foaming-at-the-mouth warmongers? Check out Norman Podhoretz, known as the patriarch of neoconservative nutballism. A confidant of Bush, Podhoretz is now running around in the White House inner circle promoting a massive bombing attack on Iranians. He admits that this would “unleash a wave of anti-Americanism all over the world that will make the anti-Americanism we’ve experienced so far look like a lovefest.” Yet, despite acknowledging such horrific consequences for our country, he maniacally declares “I hope and pray we will” bomb Iran.
Excuse me, but what kind of god do you pray to for a hellish attack that will make America globally despised?
And what kind of Congress says nothing to stop it from happening, especially considering they know they were lied to previously about a war that has had disastrous consequences?
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerers of death’s construction
In the fields the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turningPoliticians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor– War Pigs, Black Sabbath
It’s very “interesting” to listen to the Hit-Iran-choir in the US (and elsewhere).
How come that Pakistan can do EVERYTHING that Iran is not allowed to do? Having The Muslim Nuclear Bomb #1, being full of really dangerous jihadists, sponsoring the Taliban (and probably being the host of Mr bin Ladin too) and so on.

Pakistan can do these things because it is (at least marginally) our ally. Though our nuke deal with India and certain other developments suggest we are ultimately more comfortable with Hindus than Muslims as our friends– and that our government knows “losing” Pakistan is inevitable, since the Pakistani people are far more anti-American than the Pakistani military dictatorship.
As to what kind of people would knowingly foment anti-Americanism? The kind of people who need an enemy in order to survive. For them, we must have an outside enemy to blind us to our inside problems. This is textbook extremism.
