I suppose there is some irony in a storm, caused (at least in part) by petroleum-related global climate change, that targets the source of the climate change that created it.

It is difficult to respect that there is irony in natural disaster. Just a note that the source of climate change lies in the emissions from industrialised western nations and their absolute disregard of their effects on the environment. it is like blaming the knife for killing an individual rather than the person wielding it. Oh and the oil facilities were undamaged, it was people’s homes, the entire road infrastructure as well as shops and institutions rather than the corporate oil rich moguls you might envision.
