Windcrofting

Micro wind turbines are less intrusive and easier to install and maintain than larger ones. When installed in rows, the practice is called windcrofting, and is a natural to install in farm pastures, providing farmers with extra income. Proven Energy of the UK says if just one of their small wind turbines was installed on every farm in Britain, it would provide 50% of that nation’s electricity.
