Polar bears cannibalistic?
Bob Morris @ Jun 22nd 2006 00:06 - Category: Climate change
Polar bears in the southern Beaufort Sea - part of the Arctic Ocean - may be turning to cannibalism because longer seasons without ice keep them from getting to their natural food.
This means humans may need to seriously stay away from polar bears, who have been known to track humans in good years, and not just when they’re hungrier than usual.
PS You can not outrun a polar bear - or any bear, for that matter.
