In its latest annual report on global terrorism, the U.S. State Department admitted that the number of ‘terrorist incidents’ and deaths since America invaded Iraq, has increased largely because of the war itself.

Didn’t that second link say “High gas prices will last years, Bush aides say as they net record profits from the oil crisis” ?
The Bush administration is calling this “The Long War”, while they have no idea that they are fueling the reasons for the war to go on. Just like the War on Drugs, that concentrates more on limiting the drug supply instead on working on reducing demand amongst the population, therefore making it rather futile, the War on Terrorism is just giving otherwise normal people a reason to give their lives for their cause.
