Anytime a group of people becomes “the others; the enemy; the scapegoat for our problems” we are in trouble. Hitler started by making the Jew, the reson for Germany’s post WWI problems…then the Jews had to carry cards, then, then then, then… first immigrants, then people with accents, darks hair, …. where will it end. We need to listen to the politicians very carefully.
On another note, have teacher unions be contacted to walk in solidarity… closing the schools in support of immigrant rights could be very powerful.
