MEPs back McCartney justice fight



MEPs have voted to request European Union money to help fund a civil case against those suspected of killing Belfast man Robert McCartney.
Mr McCartney, 33, was stabbed in January. His family say IRA members were involved and witnesses are afraid.


A large majority voted to fund a possible civil action by his sisters if the current criminal inquiry failed.
