Ex-chief of WorldCom convicted of fraud charges.
Bernard J. Ebbers was found guilty on all nine counts of orchestrating a record $11 billion fraud. The convictions carry a maximum penalty of 85 years in jail.
His entire defense appeared to consist of, golly gee, I just had NO IDEA what was going on. I guess the jury thought otherwise.
