Can’t take a hint
A new University of Connecticut poll “found 63 percent of Connecticut residents think” Governor John Rowland (R) should resign. “A similar poll taken last week put the number at 58 percent.” In another sign Rowland is losing support quickly, the AP notes state Republicans are backing impeachment proceedings.
Rowland has been begging for forgiveness but refusing to admit he did anything illegal. Apparently most of Connecticut disagrees with him about that.
