Not In Our Name airs…

Not In Our Name airs antiwar ad

NION has created an excellent antiwar commercial, aimed at young people. MTV refuses to run the ad - although they frequently run armed forces recruitment ads.

“Freedom of speech / Just watch what you say”. Ice T.

The ad will be running on BET and local cable systems.

More on gasmasks for people…

More on gasmasks for people and doggies

Deep Audit has some thoughts about our post on gasmasks:

Okay, Bob, you’ve hit a hot button for Deep Audit.  Fact is, many of the biotoxins and all of the nerve agents and blistering agents (such as mustard gas), are easily absorbed by or are meant to directly attack the skin.

So gas masks are *useless*, without protective HAZMAT suits to go with them.  Note: No matter what the Homeland Security Office tells you, duct tape and plastic wrap is *not* EPA-approved HAZMAT protective gear. <What about my aluminum foil pyramid hat? Will that protect me??>
